Elizabeth "Beth" Kaufman, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Florida Advanced Gastroenterology Center in 2021. Since joining the practice, Beth has developed extensive experience caring for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions and works closely with the physicians and clinical team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Beth earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Sciences from Florida State University. Before becoming a Physician Assistant, she worked as an Emergency Room Technician at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, where she gained experience caring for patients in an acute-care setting.
She went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Tampa. Her clinical training included gastroenterology, family medicine, emergency medicine, pediatrics and women's health. Her gastroenterology rotation at Florida Digestive Health Specialists in Sarasota further developed her interest in digestive health and ultimately led her to pursue a career in gastroenterology.
Beth is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Outside of medicine, Beth enjoys cooking, running and spending time with her goldendoodles, Buddy and Goose.
